Old Norse Reading Group
Katrina Burge (kburge@unimelb.edu.au) is starting a new reading group in Old Norse. The University of Melbourne started teaching Old Norse over 60 years ago. The School of Languages has decided to axe Viking Studies/Old Norse from the end of 2007, so the reading group is being established to keep Old Norse alive in Melbourne. It’s aimed at beginners and all are welcome. The meetings are fortnightly on Wednesdays from 12:30-1:30. For details, email Katrina.
